Service Description
Description of Unit Pricing • Light – A unit with a small number of large items, such as one couch, bed, dresser, etc., that generally requires two people to remove, along with some light miscellaneous trash. • Medium – A unit with a moderate amount of large items, such as couches, beds, frames, dressers, and other furniture. It may also include pantries, closets, fridges, cabinetry, and miscellaneous trash. • Heavy – A unit with a large volume of items, similar to Medium but more densely packed. This includes multiple large furniture pieces, full storage areas (closets, cabinets, etc.), and significant miscellaneous trash. • Fully Furnished – This includes a fully furnished unit that has been vacated or abandoned, with all tenant belongings and trash left behind. It may also refer to basements or other spaces that are filled with materials to be removed. • 1 large item – This may be an individual large item such as a bed, sofa, or appliance. Note: The cost discrepancy is primarily due to the size of the unit, as well as the size and weight of the materials to be removed, which influence labor, materials, space, transportation, and disposal fees at landfills or recycling centers.
